Exclusively from Airtek, the Turbo Dryer (TD Series) is blower purge, single tower regenerative desiccant dryer. It affords the benefits of twin tower desiccant dryers, but with a much lower initial cost and much lower operating cost. The TD Series is designed to operate for up to sixteen hours before requiring regeneration. An “off shift” is necessary so that the unit can be regenerated at that time. Automatic regeneration is achieved by programming the desired time of regeneration into the electronic Master Controller. Upon completion of regeneration, the Turbo will be ready for the next sixteen working hours, consistently providing dew points in the 0 to -40°F (-18° to -40°C) range. An industrial duty blower provides ambient air for purge, a low watt density heater provides the required heat, and a moisture indicator allows for a visual performance check. Airtek Turbo Dryers can be economically sized for single shift applications as well (TDS Series). All Turbo Dryer packages include mounted moisture separator with drain, coalescing prefilter with drain, dryer tower with master controller, and afterfilter. All components are mounted on a solid steel platform.
