Airtek’s HydraSaver is a self-contained, closed loop fluid cooler specifically designed to remove heat from water used to cool machinery, thereby eliminating the water utility and sewer tax expense associated with industrial cooling water. HydraSaver works much like an automobile radiator. Forced ambient air is used to cool a fluid, usually a mixture of water and glycol, which in turn is used to cool machinery, recovering heat that would otherwise be wasted. Because the HydraSaver is a closed system, it will reduce maintenance by eliminating the need to boil water jackets or clean heat exchangers. There is no requirement for make-up water or chemical treatment.
